The following are the committees as determined by the Board of Directors. The person representing the board is listed. Also listed is the mission of that committee and the existence of a budget. Contact the Board Representative or the identified chairs of the committees for more information on members and meetings.
1 - SOCIAL COMMITTEE:
(NANCY MCAWARD - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE) (HAS A BUDGET)
MISSION: Identify and promote social activities for the Willowbend community. Assume the lead role in encouraging the creation of activities and programs that will stimulate personal interactions within the community. The Social Committee is looking for volunteers to serve on the committee. If you are interested, please contact Brian Gordon at 918-1531.

2 - DISASTER AND EMERGENCY COMMITTEE: (formerly Disaster Response and Preparedness Committee)
(LUCY CRIST - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE) (HAS A BUDGET)
MISSION: Develop and implement plans for the community’s response before, during and after an emergency in the interest of safeguarding homeowners and the association.

3 - GROUNDS COMMITTEE: (formerly Facilities Support &Infrastructure Committee, formerly Grounds, Lakes & Irrigation Committee)
(DUTCH LEONARD & GARY KLEIN (LAKES) - BOARD REPRESENTATIVES)
MISSION: Provide advisory support to the Board regarding all facility operations including, but not limited to, landscaping, irrigation, infrastructure and lake management.

4 - COMPLIANCE COMMITTEE:

MISSION: Develop and conduct a procedure for the enforcement of the provisions of the Declaration of Protective Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Articles of Incorporation, By Laws, and Rules and Regulations as noted in Article 6.02 of the By Laws of the Association.

5 - FINANCE COMMITTEE:
(LUCY CRIST - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE)
MISSION: Prepare an annual budget for the Willowbend Community Association Inc. Monitor the progress of revenues and expenditures and report the results to the Board on a monthly basis.

6 - RECREATIONAL FACILITIES COMMITTEE:
(CHARLES HALFAST - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE)
MISSION: Advise the Board of maintenance requirements for the Recreational Facilities to help assure a safe, enjoyable and beneficial use of all amenities.

7 - ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE:
(DUTCH LEONARD - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE)
MISSION: Safeguard the construction integrity of Willowbend Community by approving within its authority or advising the Board of recommended Architectural change requests.

8 - DOCUMENT REVIEW AND REVISION COMMITTEE:
(BOARD REPRESENTATIVE NOT ASSIGNED)
MISSION: Monitor the contents and provide to the Board advisory information concerning revisions of guiding documents that include but are not limited to, the Rules and Regulations and Name and Address booklet.

9 - SECURITY COMMITTEE:
(GLEN KLEIN - BOARD REPRESENTATIVE)
MISSION: Provide the necessary surveillance of vehicle traffic in and through the Willowbend community, notify the proper authorities of known violations such as: speeding, failure to stop etc. and provide assistance to the Board in investigating instances of violations of Association rules and Regulations.

10 - WEB SITE COMMITTEE:

MISSION: Provide an interface for submittals of information to the Web Master for entering into the Willowbend web site.

11 - INFRASTRUCTURE & TURNOVER: (COMBINED)
Infrastructure advisory committee combined with the Facilities Support committee. Turnover Committee is no longer applicable and is therefore deleted.
