Food and Necessity Drive! Monday, November 17 to Thursday November 20
Sandi and Bob Sosinski will be conducting a drive to collect food and necessities for those currently in desperate need of them at this time. They will deliver donations to a variety of smaller food banks and assistance agencies in the area.
What?
They’re asking fellow residents of Willowbend to contribute to this effort in one of the following categories:
1. Food – we are seeking donations of canned or boxed/packaged foods. They should be current, although some items can be shown as expired as long as the packaging is original and with the original seals. Food and related items must NOT be refrigerated or require refrigeration to store. Perishable items such as bakery goods and bread will also be difficult to donate as well.
2. Personal items – here, we are asking for donations of soap, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, personal sanitary items and so forth. Many times we all collect the small individual items when we travel and end up storing them at home so these items are welcomed as well.
Where?
Please leave donations by Sandi and Bob’s front door at 528 Habitat Blvd
When?
MON 17 NOV – THURS 20 NOV during the day between 9AM-5PM.
We cannot have food items out by our front door after 5PM and overnight.
Please be sure to donate only during the dates and times listed above.
For anyone who may have health issues which preclude leaving your donations, let Bob know and he will come pick them up from you!
We know that those in need will really appreciate your donations and efforts to make this happen. Got questions, contact Bob at ccidesign@aol.com
Thanks so much for your support!
